My 14.4v DC728 DeWalt drill (3 years old) has outlasted 2 other ones, Royobi and Hitachi, still going strong and with the power needed far exceeding the competitors. I have just ordered another drill and battery for my back up. DeWalt may cost a bit more, but as the old saying goes, " you get what you pay for".
This battery arrived via USPS in perfect shape just a few days after I ordered it. Wow. I charged it up for the first time and tested it out. didn't have time to mess around with batteries at the time. Lots of power. That was five years ago. My old Dewalt batteries wore out while I was building my house so I just went out and bought a Panasonic, which is awesome, by the way, to replace my Dewalt. This new battery is great.
I was cleaning out my shop the other day and found my old DeWalt. of course the wore out batteries hadn't improved with age, so I decided to take a chance with this new battery. drove a two inch drywall screw through a piece of pine and split the board and burried the screw in it. Well worth the $60 + free shipping to get this battery if you need to replace your old one.
Batteries were new in factory case. Arrived in perfect condition. Paid half as much as buying them local. Very fast delivery. I will buy from this vendor again.N. Witherspoon, Dallas, TX.
I have only used it a little but it works great. My only complaint is that it is over priced. I could have purchased a new drill for what it cost. The cost of having a DeWalt drill.
Battery arrived on time and as promised. Seems to work better / longer than the standard 14.4 battery.
